Well, it seems pretty clear which character The King of Fighters 15 is announcing at Tokyo Game Show

The King of Fighters 15 is the only for sure confirmation of new fighting game information coming to Tokyo Game Show 2021, and it looks like we'll be seeing a lot of it.

SNK's latest social media post all but confirms one of the characters that'll be announced for KOF15 during the event considering they'll be playable in the demo right after, but they also may not be the only one to make an appearance.

The developer revealed there will be eight playable characters available in the King of Fighters demo available on the TGS show floor, and among them are most of the staples you'd expect plus a still mysterious newcomer.

Mai, Kyo, Athena, Shun'ei, Iori, Leona and Terry make up the returning roster while the yet to be officially named blue-haired lady is right up there next to them.

We previously assumed she would be the one to receive a trailer during the TGS presentation, but that obviously seems to be the case now.

There's not a ton we know at the moment about her, despite appearing in the story trailer, except that her powers may be tied to Verse and / or Shun'ei in some way — and they seem to be setting her up as the new protagonist's rival given their exchanges.

Miss mystery girls may not be the only unannounced fighter to show up either.

The official description of the KOF15 Special Program states there is going to be character reveals alongside system breakdowns and the first full match footage of the game in action.

That isn't a certainty, however, since it could have just been written in a generally vague manner or even a slight mistranslation from Japanese since that version of the description doesn't say whether it's multiple or singular.

Either way, fans are probably going to be in for quite the treat with the floodgates finally opening on what KOF15 is exactly bringing to the table.

On top of the official stream, invited attendees will be able to play and record footage of the demo in action, so some dedicated FGC members are likely going to be testing everything they can in their limited time slot.

You can catch the KOF15 Special Program when it goes live this Wednesday, September 29, at 9 p.m. PT.
