'The K finalized in King of Fighters 15 was polished with care' — King of Fighter 15

K' was one of the first characters revealed for King of Fighters 15. Despite this, we only recently got a glimpse at his gameplay via his official character trailer.

Lead designer for King of Fighters 15, Tomohiro Nakata, recently released some comments about K's inclusion in King of Fighters 15. Though the character wasn't playable in the demo build, Tomohiro Nakata provided some interesting details on how K's playstyle.

"Sorry for the long wait! The day K' fans have been waiting for is finally here," begun Nakata. "All of you knew he was coming since he appeared briefly during our first trailer, but it took a while for his official character trailer to be released."

As mentioned before, K' was first revealed to be playable in King of Fighters 15 when the trailer first debuted on January 7, 2021. Oddly, we still have no idea who K' will be teaming up during the game's main story mode this time around.

"We've strengthened the follow-up moves for Ein Trigger, and so now you can pretty much combo off of light Ein Trigger into Second Knuckle with little to no problems," continued Nakata. "The flow would look something like this: A couple crouching kicks to light Ein Trigger to Second Knuckle."

"Additionally, K' now has a new command move which he can use to continue a combo off a heavy attack on the ground, or by getting some extra damage in-air from the combo: EX Ein Trigger to Second Shell to (follow-up) Blackout," stated Nakata.

It's interesting to note that K' was generally recognized as one of the stronger characters in King of Fighters 14. Despite this, it sounds like K' is being given some fairly helpful buffs. Still, we won't know how strong K' is until players actually get their hands on the game.
