Shermie's recent reveal for The King of Fighters 15 gave fans perhaps the biggest pop off since the game's initial trailer thanks to her devilish charm and gameplay updated from her few previous appearances.
Content creator Orpheus has put together two slick side-by-side comparison videos that showcases what's changed and what's received a fresh coat of paint between KOF15, King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match and SNK: Heroines Tag Team Frenzy.
As can be seen in the main video, pretty much all of Shermie's normals, specials and throws are back in the new game though there are some minor differences between how they play out. Her two chops, for example, now only use one hand instead of two like KOF 2002 while a grab follow up has also been altered from a Stone Cold Stunner into a knee drop.
Most of the cast revealed thus far are re-using many of their key frames of animation from KOF14, but problem is, Shermie wasn't in that game. Instead, it looks like a number of her animations were brought back from SNK Heroines though it's far from everything since she played a good bit differently in that spin-off title. All in all, SNK appears to have done a great job updating Shermie's movelist from the older KOF titles while giving them a little more oomph in their impact.
Now we'll just have to see if Chris is coming tomorrow or not to complete the New Faces trio alongside Yashiro. Take a look at the trailer here:
