Back in late 2021, Street Fighter's Ryu, Chun-Li and Akuma joined Brawlhalla's roster. Earlier today, it was revealed that five more Street Fighter characters are getting in on the crossover.
M. Bison, Dhalsim, Ken, Sakura and Luke will become playable in Brawlhalla starting on May 25. This crossover event is happening as part of the celebration of Street Fighter's 35th anniversary.
As of right now, Luke has only made an official appearance in Street Fighter 5, though his story feels barebones since he's also slated to be playable in Street Fighter 6. All signs appear to be pointing towards Luke being the protagonist of Street Fighter 6.
However, Luke's design in Brawlhalla matches how he looks in Street Fighter 5. It's likely that Capcom wants Luke's Street Fighter 6 design to debut in Street Fighter 6 before he appears this way as a third party guest in other titles.
Like all characters in Brawlhalla, all Street Fighter characters have their moves unlocked via weapons that can be equipped. This likely means that other characters will be able to integrate the classic techniques of M. Bison, Dhalsim, Luke, Sakura and Ken when they acquire their special items.
