Street Fighter 5's final DLC character Luke gets his own form!

Street Fighter 5's colorful cast of characters previously saw adorable artwork that transformed them into cats as a tie into one of Capcom's April Fool's Day games that was available to play for free online. Following the Summer Update, the game's director Takayuki Nakayama shared cute cat artwork of the upcoming Street Fighter 5 Season 5 DLC characters — Dan, Rose, Oro, and Akira — ahead of the fighters' official release.

Now, the developer has done the same for the final DLC character set to be added to Street Fighter 5. The powerful puncher, Luke, is now an adorable kitty cat too.

Nakayama posted the artwork over on Twitter just this morning. He notes that the piece was done by Tamio, an artist and member of the Capcom design room.

The cat form takes several of Luke's defining features and puts them front and center to really sell it, and it works quite well. This little critter has the fighter's slicked back blonde hair, blue eyes, and even has his tattoos.

On its forehead, the cat has several star tattoos that take after the same pattern on Luke's forearms. This form even goes as far as having a determined look on his face, which we know is one of Luke's main personality traits as he notes that he will not lose in his official gameplay trailer.

Fans are expecting the official launch of Luke in Street Fighter 5 sometime this month, though we currently do not have a window of time when we might be seeing him. Until more information about him surfaces, you can check out and enjoy kitty Luke below.
