Oro player pulls off what others are calling 'the hardest combo in Street Fighter 5'!

Although the legendary hermit hasn't made much of a splash in the competitive scene as of yet, Oro players have showcased how high the ceiling is for the character in Street Fighter 5, and apparently he can go even higher.

One such player in Prophet just completed and shared a 71-hit combo that renowned tech monster Javits Arias is calling "the hardest combo in SF5."

There's a ton of moving parts and minute details required to pull off such a feat, but the 30-second combo begins simply enough with Oro's Onibi V-Skill into a jump in.

Things quickly ramp up from there, however, with Prophet needing to loop the hermit's standing medium kick after light punches into heavy fireball, which is actually way more impressive than it looks.

As Javits points out, the player needs to perform a microwalk before every kick, and that's almost mind-boggling considering it has to be done in such a specific way to keep the charge motion for fireball without getting forward medium kick and immediately going back to charging again.

After pulling off the loop at least half a dozen times, Prophet ends things with Oro's hit grab, which gives him just enough to reach 1,003 stun damage and over 720 regular damage when combined with the post-stun follow-up.

Luckily (or unluckily depending on your perspective) though, we'll probably never see this combo pulled off in a real match since it needs a full stock of resources while hitting an opponent with Onibi in the corner from neutral — and also still have enough life remaining at that point to just not instantly die.

Thinking that there's probably a more practical version of this setup lurking could end up being scary, so we'll have to see what the Oro players cook up next.
