Dragon Ball Z's Goku Teased As Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl DLC Fighter

It's possible that Dragon Ball Z's Goku could become a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl DLC fighter, as teased by the game's developers. The recently-released brawler pits famous Nickelodeon characters against each other across a series of Nick-themed stages, similar to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and there are almost endless fighters who could be introduced to the game in the future.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has been one of the most exciting releases of the month, offering players the chance to battle with and against their favorite childhood characters. The current roster of fighters includes Nick heroes such as SpongeBob SquarePants, but also recognizes some of the channel's often overlooked stars, including Ren & Stimpy's Powdered Toast Man, Invader Zim's Zim, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' April O'Neil, and multiple The Loud House characters. Even more fan-favorite additions are planned for the future thanks to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl DLC.

Pro Smash player Juan "Hungrybox" DeBiedma recently spoke with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl developers Thaddeus Crews and Markus Villalobos (via Dexerto), with conversation turning to the possibility of Goku joining the game's roster. While the Dragon Ball character isn't owned by Nickelodeon, he has appeared on the network with Dragon Ball Z Kai having aired on Nicktoons. When asked by a viewer if Goku could come to the game, Crews said third-party characters were "not something we - at all - considered or thought about as being even remotely on the table," before admitting that DLC is still an option for non-Nick stars. "As far as it pertains to DLC, as far as it pertains to future plans..," teased the developer before making a cryptic mouth-sealed motion.

The final DLC fighter for Smash Bros. Ultimate was recently revealed, and it's looking like fan conjecture over the Smash roster has already been replaced with conjecture over Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's. Goku has been one of the most highly-requested additions to Smash Bros., and while the Saiyan may have missed his chance with Nintendo, it seems very possible that he could be added to All-Star Brawl in the future.
